As part of the Estonian-wide initiative of Open Handicraft Workshops, we invite everyone to the Järva County Handicraft Day on October 19 at the Wittenstein Activity Museum!
9.30-10.00 gathering, welcome coffee.
10.00 Opening of the Järvamaa Craft Day, craft sale and exhibitions.
10.15 Lecture “Weaving the fabric of linen folk costume today” – lecturer Eva-Liisa Kriis.
11.15 Lecture “Cleaning folk clothes” – lecturer Svetlana Saare.
12.30 Lunch break (on your own)
13.00 activity in the workshops:
*Knitting the leg band – Silvia Aarma, Margot Marks.
*Knitting a letter belt – Tiia Kontus.
14.00 Closing the day and thanking the instructors.
