Christmas Traditions in a 19th-Century Town
The Christmas journey at Wittenstein Activity Museum takes visitors back to a 19th-century Estonian town, where they can discover how people prepared for Christmas and what festive traditions were practised at the time.
During the journey, visitors will meet an apothecary and cheerful craftsmen, learn about their work and try their hand at traditional crafts. The programme introduces old Christmas customs, festive preparations and traditions. Santa Claus will also make a special appearance during the children’s Christmas programme.
Christmas programmes are available for kindergarten and school groups, as well as adult groups.
